The Editor Salon takes an editorial approach to hair, where precision cuts, trend-led styling, and craftsmanship meet creativity. The interior reflects this philosophy through a concept that celebrates movement, expression, and the creative process.

The concept of 'The Brushline' imagines the salon as a continuous brush stroke in motion. Every cut, colour, and gesture becomes an extension of a single line that bends, layers, pauses, and accelerates. The space flows like paint across a canvas, never static, always in process.

The big ceiling lights are dramatically shaped like brush strokes, while the workstations are arranged in a zigzag pattern, as though traced by a brush movement. Transitions are fluid rather than abrupt, with a play of materials shifting from smooth to tactile. The colour palette is mostly cool, with stainless steel and dark grey flooring as the base but balanced by the warmth of dark walnut laminate on the built-in cabinets.

Workstations become moments of focus along the stroke, denser and more precise, while waiting areas loosen into lighter, more expressive gestures.
