Penrose Bar is conceived as an urban excavation, where the interior unfolds like a hidden mine shaped by shadow, texture, and discovery. The spatial sequence draws patrons inward, compressing and releasing space to heighten anticipation and reveal moments gradually rather than all at once.

Materials evoke both rawness and refinement. Broken slate flooring, textured tiles, and blackened metal form a dark, grounded base, punctuated by antique gold detailing that glimmers like exposed ore. Lighting is controlled and directional, guiding movement and highlighting key moments such as the bar counters and distillery.
